Sompo announced today the appointment of Maya Dongyoung Lee as Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific, effective immediately.

Maya Dongyoung Lee brings extensive experience in insurance operations and management across Asia. Prior to joining Sompo, she held core leadership positions at Manulife, including Chief Operations Officer of Manulife Philippines and Group Transformation Lead. Upon taking office, she will be based in Singapore, with a dual reporting line to Daniel Englberger, International Chief Operating Officer of Sompo, and Kenneth Reilly, Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Business, Asia Pacific.
