Generali Asia has appointed Sun Lei as Deputy Regional Officer, Asia.

Sun Lei has more than 20 years of management experience in insurance, finance and M&A. He previously held senior roles at Allianz Group including President and Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Korea Life, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Allianz China, and Senior M&A Executive at Allianz Group. In his new role, he will be based in Hong Kong and report to Rob Leonardi, Regional Head of Asia.

The appointment is effective March 9, 2026.
