Liberty Specialty Markets has promoted Sara de Sampaio Soares to Head of Energy, Power and Mining for Asia Pacific.

Sara de Sampaio Soares has 11 years of tenure at Liberty Specialty Markets. Prior to this promotion, she served as AVP & National Manager, Energy & Power (ANZ). Before joining Liberty, she worked at Chaucer Syndicates Ltd in London, UK, where she built a solid foundation in energy underwriting, starting as an Underwriting Graduate Trainee and progressing to Energy Underwriting Assistant and Energy Assistant Underwriter. In her new role, she will be based in Singapore.
