Sompo has appointed Daniel Lukas as Senior Vice President and Head of Personal Lines for Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Sompo, Daniel Lukas served as Chief Underwriting Officer – SME, Asia at Chubb. He began his career at Esure, and subsequently built a solid foundation in actuarial and analytical capabilities at institutions including Aviva and Accenture. In his new role, he will be based in Singapore.

The appointment is effective April 17, 2026.
