Chubb has announced the appointment of Kim Il-pyung as the new Chief Executive Officer of Lina Non-Life Insurance.

Kim Il-pyung previously served as Executive Vice President at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. With more than 30 years of tenure at the insurer, he held senior responsibilities across sales channel strategy, underwriting and risk management. In his new role, Kim will report to Marcos Gunn, President of Chubb Asia-Pacific.

The appointment takes effect on 15 September.
