Helvetia Baloise Group has announced a leadership transition for its Asia business, with Siew Choo Tan set to take up the role of CEO Asia, subject to regulatory approval.

Siew Choo Tan is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Asian property insurance, business development and regional risk management. She joined Helvetia Baloise Group in 2019 as Head of Engineering & Property Solutions Asia, overseeing power, industrial property and construction insurance lines. Prior to that, she served as Underwriting Manager for International Construction at AXA XL.

The appointment will take effect on 1 January 2027.
