Prudential plc announced the appointment of Naveed Irshad as Regional CEO for Indonesia, Philippines and Africa. He will also join Prudential’s Group Executive Committee.

Naveed Irshad has more than three decades of experience in insurance and financial services across Asia and North America. Prior to joining Prudential, he served as President and CEO of Manulife Canada. In his new role, Naveed will be based in Hong Kong and report to Group CEO Anil Wadhwani.

The appointment will take effect on 26 October 2026.
