Global insurance group QBE has recently announced the appointment of Florence Chan as Head of Data, Analytics and AI for Asia.

Florence Chan boasts over 20 years of experience spanning data, analytics, digital transformation and fintech. She specialises in regulatory reporting, governance framework development and the implementation of artificial intelligence within the insurance sector. Based in Hong Kong for her new role, she will report directly to Shrenik Dagli, Global Head of Data, Analytics and AI, with a dotted line to Patrick Karlowski, Chief Operating Officer for Asia.

This appointment will take effect on 13 July 2026.
